July 29, 2025 - Concerts and on to York, England

I did lots of walking around Edinburgh Tuesday evening and Wednesday. We had a great concert at Saint Giles Cathedral on the Royal Mile near the castle followed by a tour of the castle and more walking. Thursday we drove south and had an informal concert at Jedburgh Abbey just north of the English border.

We stopped in Durham for some sightseeing and then on to York for the night.

On the way out of the castle at closing time the pipers and drummers were just coming into the stadium to practice.

When I walked back down into Edinburgh I could hear the military tattoo guys practicing up in the stadium.

Tuesday, July 29, we drove South to York
