August 2, 2025. - A big day in London with the final concert
The day started with a tour of Westminster Abbey followed by a walking tour from our hotel ending with the changing of the guard parade on the mall in front of Buckingham Palace. After a quick lunch we bused over to Holy Trinity Church at Sloan Square for our final concert. Following that, three friends and I went to see Hadestown at the West End Lyric Theatre.

The back door
The wooden coronation chair that British Kings have sat in since 1308. It’s in its own room now behind a grate. It was out in the open the last time I was here.
The Henry VII Lady Chapel

Philip the plumber gets a spot in Westminster Abbey too.
The Blue Bridge in St. James park

The poop sweeper came out as soon as the parade passed.

Holy Trinity Church
It was a big church and a full house with at least a couple hundred people. The church had a great sound, we sang well, the audience liked it, and all in all a really great final performance for the tour.
The altar/stage
London friends Rich and Carmen who came to the concert.
A panorama of the interior of the church.
Dinner with Mary, Shirley & Mary at Albert’s Schloss in Soho across from the Lyric Theatre.
Hadestown was a great show. We took the tube there a walked for about 30 minutes back to the hotel.
