August 4, 2025 - Walking London

While Rich went to work, Carmen and I went on a “Hidden London” walking tour, then did quite a bit of walking on our own. We ended up at the Tate Gallery for modern art. After a nice gluten-free pasta dinner we watched “The Imitation Game” on TV and spotted all the locations we saw in person the day before.

St Paul’s Cathedral

St Bride’s Church on Fleet Street, also known as the wedding cake church.

Lunch at Carmen’s favorite GF place, Leon’s

The Millennial Bridge is a foot only bridge across the Thames with St Paul’s on the north side and the Tate Gallery (the old power plant) on the south side.

The Tate Gallery on the other side of the river.

River Larks searching for treasures at low tide on the banks of the Thames.

The Millennium Bridge

Coffee and Tea at the 10th floor cafe at the Tate.

Inside this store is the post office. It cost about $4 to mail one postcard!
